Advertising agency selection scorecard for Asia

Score one candidate against twelve weighted controls, document the evidence behind every judgment and expose weak ownership, measurement, data or exit terms.

ALEX-DIGITAL

There is no universal best advertising agency in Asia. The defensible choice is the candidate whose documented market fit, account ownership, measurement plan, operating controls and commercial terms match the brief. This browser-only tool applies one transparent 100-point method to every candidate; it does not rank vendors.

Score one candidate

Use the same brief, reviewers and evidence standard for every candidate. Complete all twelve scores before calculating.

Decision record

The total organizes evidence; it does not certify quality or predict performance. Investigate every critical control below 3 before contracting.

Candidate
Weighted evidence scoreNot calculated

Sum of each 0–5 score divided by 5 and multiplied by its stated weight; maximum 100.

Documented evidence notesNot calculated

Criteria with a non-empty evidence note; a note is not proof until independently checked.

Critical controls below 3Not calculated

Account ownership, measurement, policy/data and exit readiness require explicit follow-up.

Criteria scoredNot calculated

A comparable record requires all twelve criteria to use the same scoring scale.

METHOD / PROCUREMENT

How to use the score responsibly

Keep claims, documents and decision rules reviewable.

Freeze the brief first

Write the markets, languages, channels, business outcome, budget range, data sources and internal approver before reviewing proposals. Change weights before scoring, not after seeing a preferred vendor.

Score evidence, not presentation polish

Ask for the named document, access model, demonstration or reference behind each claim. Give zero when usable evidence is absent and record why a higher score was awarded.

Resolve critical controls

A high total must not hide weak account ownership, measurement, policy/data handling or exit readiness. Put remedies, owners and deadlines into the contract or pilot plan.

Compare and validate

Repeat the scorecard separately for each candidate with the same reviewers. Check references with consent, validate account access and run a bounded pilot when the uncertainty warrants it.

Your procurement notes stay in this browser

The form has no submit endpoint. Scores, candidate names and evidence notes are not sent to or stored by ALEX-DIGITAL. Do not enter credentials or personal data.

No ranking or performance guarantee

Weights are a starting method, not an industry benchmark. Adjust the written brief before scoring, verify references independently and use a bounded pilot where suitable.

FAQ / SELECTION

FAQ

Compare advertising agencies in Bali, Indonesia and Asia with a free 100-point scorecard for evidence, ownership, measurement, fees and risk.

Does the highest score identify the best advertising agency in Asia?

No. The score summarizes how one candidate fits one written brief using the selected evidence. It is not a market ranking, certification or prediction of campaign performance.

Why do the example weights add to 100?

A 100-point total makes trade-offs visible and easy to compare. The weights are a transparent starting method, not an industry benchmark; change them before reviewing vendors if the brief requires it.

What counts as evidence for an agency claim?

Useful evidence can include a live account walkthrough, role and ownership map, client-approved case with metric provenance, written fee schedule, reporting sample, policy process or consented reference.

Should a client keep ownership of advertising accounts and data?

The client should normally retain administrative visibility, billing clarity and continuity of data and assets. Partner access should be role-based, revocable and covered by a written handover process.

Are the candidate name, scores or notes sent to ALEX-DIGITAL?

No. Calculation happens locally in the browser and the form has no submission endpoint or storage mechanism. Avoid entering passwords, personal data or confidential credentials.

Can ALEX-DIGITAL guarantee results if it receives a high score?

No. A score cannot guarantee rankings, CPA, ROAS, revenue or other outcomes. Market demand, offer, competition, tracking, platform rules and client operations remain material variables.
